Oh, I am not sure that I am all that strong. I have certainly indulged in a moment or two of self pity.

Just thought I would add a little brag on my hubby to the thread. He truly is an amazing man (even when we lived in the same house LOL). A wonderful husband and father, a hard worker (works a second job in addition to the military because he wants me to be able to stay home with the kids), kind, sweet, loving, polite. He adopted our two oldest kids when we got married (I already had them when we met) and loves them just as much as if they were biologically his. He is just wonderful and I have missed him so very, very, much!!! One day, the two little girls my mom is raising were at our house and saw flowers on the table. They were saying how pretty they are. Our middle son walked by and said "oh, those are just because Dad loves Mom. You get used to it". LOL

And it is wonderful that he loves your oldest kids as if they were his! It says alot to the love he feels for you.

Honestly, I think he fell in love with the boys long before he did me.

Before he met us he didn't really think he liked and certainly didn't want kids. We started out as friends (helping each other recover from bitter divorces) because he didn't want to date a woman with kids.

It didn't take long of being my friend before the boys totally won him over and he wanted to spend every second with them!!! LOL

Wow, I sympathize. My two oldest daughters husbands started their deployment on Monday.
Its great though that you are planning for the future! Time will go by, thats a given.

And now, my worries over moving my chickies seem far less. I mean, I KNOW a lot can happen in a year, but a friend has offered to drive her truck down when we move and take the chickens in it!! She said that she has to know where my house is anyway and would love to help take them!!! So YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY just one more great thing happening!
