My Hatching Eggs Arrived........SCRAMBLED!! Update Page 2

You told me that this person said they have shipped hundreds (or was it thousands?) of eggs like this, I would love to know where!! They only have 1 listing for eggs for sale in the BST forum, and they have been a member for over a year!! You'd think with being around here that long they would have learned how to wrap eggs!

Sweetheart! They should give you nothing less than a FULL refund of both the purchase price and the shipping as well! What good did it do for you to pay for priority shipping only to receive uncooked scrambled eggs!?!?!

Good grief! Even a child could pack them better than that! Shame on the seller! Completely inexcusable!

The more I look at that mess, the madder I get!

I'm so sorry. I have been the victim of same kind of thing...packed worse than that if you can believe it.

I hope you get a few survivors and the rest of your refund!

The seller offered me the rest of my money back. I said it wasn't necessary. I understand that you assume some risk when buying hatching eggs and having them shipped.

As the seller told me he has shipped "probably shipped about ten thousand eggs" and that "sent eggs like that several hundred times, and that has never happened".

So, this has been a learning experience for both of us. (I mostly learned how smelly broken eggs can be after three days in the mail.)

After viewing the pictures and reading the comments left here the seller sent the remainder of the money back to me.

It was not necessary for him to do so and I had told him that.

I think it shows the strength of his character and his good business practices.
