Yep, no auto turner here. I have plans for a manual turner though. If I can find a cheap and large cooler, I'll use that instead, but I'm trying to keep this under 50$ to build.Banti is going smaller lot smaller what she is building a auto turner will not fit in . it is to small !!!!
I might as well cut to the chase and congratulate you on your future 100% hatch.Well, I got 32 last time, and a few were cracked and only 16 were fertile.
I didn't find any cracks in this 36, but with my luck, they will all be fertile this time!![]()
Gonna get the bulbs from Amazon, as the ones I have are 75 watts. I already have the fixtures, unless you are talking about the 2 pronged socket....
She has a big cooler, mine is tiny.
Not my turner, lol.... neighbor just lent the whole kit and caboodle to me until I was able to find my own.no your good on the fixtures. If I was you I would I would try to find one that your auto turner will fit in that is unless you are just going to use it as a hatcher .or hand turn the eggs for the whole set .
Not my turner, lol.... neighbor just lent the whole kit and caboodle to me until I was able to find my own. That and she wants more chicks.![]()
I might build my own auto turner if I can find ideas.... Can't be too hard...

"I'm just going to wait until tomorrow" are some of the most common last words round 'bout these parts.Only certain people have "rules" on whether or not you should start a new thread - and rules are made to be broken.![]()
Since I'm not quite sure what I'm going to set this time, I started collecting a few eggs from my other EE and the Orloffs. I know, I was going to wait until tomorrow.
I think I have enough Legbar mixes hatched (5) to get at least a couple keeper pullets. Still trying to decide if I should set any eggs from Tweaker, my sweet Wheaten Ameraucana that lays nicely saturated blue eggs but has a really twisted spine. Of course, they'd be half Orloff, too which should reduce any genetic component of the wry tail being passed down.
Decisions, decisions...![]()
