no glass floating type is what you want . the will fit it in some humidity vent holes but are to short to use like that . they will work laying down though . you can adjust your little thermometer by sliding the tube in the little metal straps a little bit.

Aquarium floating thermometer the cheap one will do fine use the search to see it .one line it is very cheap. in the store $3

Was gunna name pick some up but I didn't think the aquarium ones were accurate enough

tropical fish can be affected by very slight changes in temperature so they are very accurate just hard to read . and not practical for use in incubators . but they are great to calibrate others with because they are so accurate.

Actually, I've heard many well known breeders use them a lot... I keep forgetting to pick some up... most people don't care for them cuz as K said, harder to read... convenience of digital has made us look down on good ole reliable thermos...
