My Hatching Journey: the Adventures of a Complete Newbie

Only certain people have "rules" on whether or not you should start a new thread - and rules are made to be broken.

Since I'm not quite sure what I'm going to set this time, I started collecting a few eggs from my other EE and the Orloffs. I know, I was going to wait until tomorrow.

I think I have enough Legbar mixes hatched (5) to get at least a couple keeper pullets. Still trying to decide if I should set any eggs from Tweaker, my sweet Wheaten Ameraucana that lays nicely saturated blue eggs but has a really twisted spine. Of course, they'd be half Orloff, too which should reduce any genetic component of the wry tail being passed down.

Decisions, decisions...

should I have brought flour to the party????? and nobody tells me what I can and can't do . Last time I check this was a members website . gonna get me some of them magic feathers

go spy on them some . play by the rules do what you want . course I already know what they up to got a spy or two .

when the GQFs came up I had all kinds of ideas and no time . was good a work year so I bought them both well all three . and still no time

I remember Benny's turner I think Ravyn's cabinet works kinda like that . not sure . this rain has my net all messed up . can't get on youtube . I'm sure you'll come up with something though .up since two am and I'm tired think only one more of those .and I'm done. as long as you have the LG keep turning in it and hatch in the Banti bator you won't need to turn . We see Incubators sell all the time cheap at the auction . haven't seen one with a turner yet . they cost as much as the incubator . every body lives to far away I have both a mini fridge and a wine cooler I would give someone .

I'll be hatching in the LG for at least this batch and maybe the next, it depends. If I can find a larger cooler I'll just get the LG turner and put that in there.
