Hi Banti off to bed

I was going to say what Friday said.

Your temps running a little hot K? I lost more when I ran the incubator a tad warmer and they started hatching earlier - won't do that again. Maybe back the temp off a tiny bit to get them closer to hatching on day 21? Just a thought.

I ran mine just a little hotter this last time, as mine were hatching late day 21 and into day 22, and they all hatched on 21, I think. I don't like rushing them.

Last night was day 14. All three are still alive!

Anything special I should do for lockdown in a forced air? Cover the fan somehow? I wouldn't think the fan was low enough to get the chicks hurt, but knowing chicks, they will probably stand on eggs just to shove their head in.

I'd cover it, just to be safe. Maybe a piece of that plastic canvas grid, like for crafts, or whatever that stuff is. Just something to still allow the air flow, but block the chick from getting in it.

Okay. I have some, I think, so I'll use that. I do NOT want to lose any more chicks! Three in one week is just too much.

I'm sure you and Friday are right .No matter what I do Can't get it below a 100 degrees . I have fans running on them now . Banti If this is your Banti built the fan shouldn't be a problem. Don't change the air flow pattern it seems to be working .
