My heart is broken, Scovey Hen flew off yesterday

Birdcrazy, I'm so glad they found her!!

A friend of our's that lives 5 miles away said she saw a white duck out on her pond with her Geese so we drove over there with binoculars, peas and a travel crate. When we first pulled up and I saw a white bird out there my heart just started pounding like mad. Got the binoculars out and it was a Snow Goose :-( Our friend said he had seen 5 Muscovy on a pond just up the road from him two days in a row but had never seen them there before that. We drove over there and the pond was empty. Scooter has been gone 50 days, I feel like I'm never going to see her again

If there are Muscovy around she has probably taken up with them.. At least she would be with her own kind and better safe in a crowd than alone.. Still hoping for a miracle though..

How I wish I was Snow White..... I could have 7 dwarfs - Call Ducks in fact... they are soo cute - Sandra has converted me!

Still no Scooter

My Husband is sure something got her but like I keep telling him she was with the other ducks in the yard, fifteen minutes later she was gone and the other ducks were still in the same spot, I figure if a predator had come up the other ducks would have been hiding. Not to mention Scooter was not my smallest duck. I just don't know. We've gone to that other pond a few times in the last few days and no Scovies to be seen so I am now wondering if our friend really saw Scovies or more Snow Geese. I would give anything to hear Scooter talking to me right now, dang I miss her terribly!
