Soon...... give her a few more days to get her ducklings together for the treck home... if need be. (Since she may be closer than farther). I've seen Scovies sit on nests up to three days waiting till the last moment on the off chance a few more would hatch. If Scooter is feeling safe where she is, she won't rush it and she'll give her ducklings time to rest before making the move home. It's amazing to watch 1 day olds w/momma Scovy vs. 3 day olds. 38 days - say 33/36 days for hatching so we're talking just a few days give or take. You may wake up to her home as soon as tomorrow or it may be later this week or into next. I know it would be SWEEET JOY to see her home, sooner than later.

My scovie was a bit confused as a first mum, i think thats the best way to put it. She had trouble controlling her ducklings and being a mother 'figure' .. after more experience she's perfect now, but if scooter is a newbie she may still be getting her bearings!
Good luck!

Hey Scooter....!!!

We are all waiting patiently for you to show off your babies - Miss Lydia and I need hairdye.... I may choose red too.... with a little green maybe so I can look like my latest Roo chick!

PlumTuckered - keep hanging in there - she'll be back soon!
