Oh, and you may need to dip her beak in the water. I use a chicken waterer so they can't really get in it. Have fun w/Hope!

I always mix the feed with warm water the first few days, I also smear a bit on the side of the brooder. Nibbling on you is one of the precious things they do, they do it to mamma duck as well Mine are 12 weeks old and all still nibble on me, I love it LOL

Once you mix warm water in her feed, dip her bill into it gently, she'll probably shake it off at first but the flavor will be there and once it hits her tongue she'll figure it out.

should have added: she won't eat much the first day if at all but if you've made the mash and shown her where it is she'll get the idea. Ducks are very smart
