My hen died mysteriously

My hen died yesterday of unknown causes and I didn't know if anyone was willing to diagnose a dead chicken? She had a runny nose, she was really struggling to breath, she had diarrhea, she didn't want to eat and drink, and she wasn't moving very fast. If that sounds like a sickness you are familiar with please let me know. I thought that the worms had come back but all of the other chickens were perfectly fine, but I am treating them anyway. There was a coop fire and I didn't know if maybe she was the one who knocked over the heat lamp and inhaled too much smoke, but other than that, I have no idea.

If you still have the body, a state lab will do a necropsy and tell you what caused the death. I can't help you find the lab since you haven't told us your location. Call your university extension office and they will know.

It's likely a respiratory illness that killed her, either bacteria or smoke inhalation.
