My hen escaped and came back badly injured

I agree about withholding the Amprolium, but if you don't have it in your medicine kit, I'd hang onto it. If (and when) you have to deal with coccidiosis, a very common issue since coccidia occurs naturally in soil, you may well need it, and the faster you get it to them , the better!
Im going to buy some medicated food tomorrow.
fwiw - medicated feed in the US only contains a Coccidiostat - usually Amprolium. This "medication" has no antibiotic properties. It won't hurt her, but if you did buy some, you may want to take that back.
Sorry @MROO if there was as miscommunication. I was referring to the OP buying medicated Feed. If unopened, I would take that back, since it's really not needed in this situation.

You can get injectable pencillin at the feed store and you can get Cephalexin, or amoxicillin for fish. Something like Cephalexin might be a good choice. You're an EMT? Got any doctor friends, they might be willing to help you find something too.
A question for @casportpony, or anyone else who knows antibiotics well - I have some cephalexin left over from a human Rx that was changed, midstream. I was going to (safely) dispose of it, but if I can use it for chickens, I'll stash it in my first aid cabinet. What's the dose for a standard and a bantam chicken, so I can write it on the bottle?

Neomycin is very good
Doxycycline as well
Enrofloxacin
Tylan or Tylosin

Biotrim

Along with multivitamin those contain biotin & amino acids will help 2X

The dose prescribed for one of my hens was ~56 mg per pound twice a day.

:frowGood morning. I’m wondering how Marsala did overnight.

She seems to have done fine. She has eaten a bit of scrambled egg this morning and pooped a lot so Im remaining cautiously optimistic. Thank you so much for asking. The support I have gotten from everyone in this forum has been terrific.
