My hen has a prolapsed vent !

Guys it popped out again. This morning she drank lots and lots of water but did not want to eat. There was brown poop stuck in her vent but I think I got everything out. She is looking sleepish and I know that's not a good sign. This morning I tried to clean it again but those white parts pictured earlier just wont come off. And someone mentioned that I should put sugar on it - which I did this morning. I'm going to try the coconut oil thing, we have some. Should i give it orraly or put it on her prolapsed vent?
I couldn't call the vet and neither today, their closed for the day. I'm really scared that my girl is going to die. This has never happened before and I don't want to lose her. I'm going to try and make the swelling a bit better today. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I also just realised that she struggles to poop. She squats to poop, and then only the tip of the poop comes out. And I think it hurts her too much ti poop so she pulls it back in. I've had to empty her vent for poop twice already. Why is she struggling to poop? Any advice?

You can give her the coconut oil orally and also apply it to her vent. Give her a teaspoon full orally, they will often like it and take it by choice. If she is not inclined to take it mix it with a treat. Try get some into her now and put some in the refrigerator for easy feeding later. They can take it a lot easier if it is solid.
Apply liberally to vent. Best of luck, you're doing everything you can.:thumbsup

Thank you. I made her drink some, only a little bit and then put some of it on her vent. I think it soothed her and her vent has not been full of poop since I put coconut oil on. Maybe the poop comes out easier now? I'm still going to check every 30 minutes or so for poop, I don't want her to be clogged up. Tomorrow I'm calling the vet for advise. Those white thingies in the picture came off a little bit, but when i tried taking it off, it was still attached to her vent, so I'm leaving it there for now , i dont want to make it bleed and then again wait for it to recover. She walked around a little bit on her own. Do you guys know of any food I can give her? I smashed up some mini corn and she seemed to like it. Maybe banana or something?
Thanks:bow

Coconut oil is a natural anti-inflammatory and antibiotic, and will help lubricate her vent so yes it will make it easier to pass stools. Will she not eat her normal food? Soaking it in warm water normally makes them like it. You could also give her some scrambled or boiled egg. I would keep it simple when she has a prolapse.
It's great you are getting vet care :thumbsup

If she is squatting, I would be concerned she is again trying to pass an egg :(
Have you got her inside again? I would try giving her another soothing bath, in case there's an egg. It will also help her poop. Gently massage her underside while she is in the bath. Try keep her in it for as long as the water stays warm. Afterwards, lube her up with the coconut oil again. Do you have electrolytes?

Thank you very much. She's pecking at the ground for bugs and walks around more. I'll give her some more coconut oil. I'm going to scramble a egg for her now. The prolapse seems to have a little broken spot or something. Its swollen so I'll put on some coconut oil. Its alot cleaner and there isn't any poop stuck. Those white things are starting to fall off on it's own. But I realised that she is dripping a clear liquid. Any idea what it is? It gets white when it dries
Thanks
