My hen has a prolapsed vent !

If she is squatting, I would be concerned she is again trying to pass an egg :(
Have you got her inside again? I would try giving her another soothing bath, in case there's an egg. It will also help her poop. Gently massage her underside while she is in the bath. Try keep her in it for as long as the water stays warm. Afterwards, lube her up with the coconut oil again. Do you have electrolytes?
No i don't think shes trying to pass a egg. She always squated when she poops back when she was healthy. I felt around her vent and abdomen and I don't feel an egg. No we do not have electrolytes

Thank you very much. She's pecking at the ground for bugs and walks around more. I'll give her some more coconut oil. I'm going to scramble a egg for her now. The prolapse seems to have a little broken spot or something. Its swollen so I'll put on some coconut oil. Its alot cleaner and there isn't any poop stuck. Those white things are starting to fall off on it's own. But I realised that she is dripping a clear liquid. Any idea what it is? It gets white when it dries
Thanks
That could be her urates, the risk of infection is big so that's what you are trying to avoid. You should give her another calcium tablet anyway. It won't hurt her and may help her. The less you need to touch the tissue the better. I would use bathing to remove any stuck poop and keep the coconut oil on her.
It's a pity you don't have electrolytes, she is probably exhaused, but the cooked egg and coconut oil will help. If you have any poultry vitamins I would give her those also direct dose.
Is the prolapse staying in?

I bathed her today to remove the poop. The prolapse is still very dirty, and the things that still have to come off are stuck to it, and I'm scared that if I take those things off it will bleed alot, or if I put the dirty prolapse back in that it wil cause infection. I have not yet tried to put the prolapse back in. I can put a put a pick in if you like?

Those greenish whiteish parts don't wash off, but have started coming off on it's own. Ive had a look closer and those things are attached to her vent and if i pull them off she will bleed. I know it. And I don't know if it is safe to put that dirty prolapse back in?

Not sure if you have ever weighed her, but it would probably be a good idea to keep track of her weight, since she isn’t eating as well. If she loses too much weight, you may need to consider tube feeding until the issue resolves.
