I have an egg laying question....about six months ago my hen got sick. Not sure what it was or what helped but she had poopy backside and wasn't eating. I treated with DE. That didn't seem to help. Then corid and I thoufht that might have helped but did a short round of antibiotics just to be sure. She perked up, started eating and acting like a chicken again. The only problem is durring her sickness she wasn't laying and now 6 months later she STILL isn't laying. She is even getting really yellow legs and beak from not laying! Idk what to do! I've tried the crushed red pepper flakes, no luck. In your opinion, is it hopeless to think she will lay again at this point? Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated.

How old is this hen? Since it sounds like you don't know what she was sick with, it's possible that whatever it was pretty much wiped her out and she might not resume laying. I have one hen that has rarely laid her entire life, but she obviously has some health issues so I'm not surprised that she doesn't lay.

I have no idea. Boost post?

Really no need to boost a post that was only 2 min old at the time. Most of us can only be on here limited hours each day, so we try to read and help out when we can.

She is 2 yrs old. She was a great layer before but maybe whatever it was just wiped her out.

That's unfortunate. If you don't mind her sticking around, possibly after fall molt and short winter days, she might start back up in spring, but no guarantees, and as a 3 year old, she'd likely be starting to show some signs of slowing down.
