My Hens New Look?

Our black-star type hen went all of a sudden like that, too.

Is this what you call a second or first molt? There are lots of tiny feathers all over the coop, I at first thought a chick had been hiding and got caught by the roosters, but I think she is molting too?

Yeppers she is turning blue in them first 2 pic's she looks like she is ready to squeeze one out any time now

Just kidding' when i saw that blue tail on that girl i was like "WHAT"

then i saw the blue tarp in the next photos

In your first 2 photos the hen looks like she has blue feathers and then the next photos i see her by a blue tarp so i figured the blue is from the light shining threw the tarp onto her backside.

If not i want some blue chickes , they would match my peacock real nice. LOL
