I have a robust Black Copper Marans that has always been healthy as a horse, but all of a sudden she's without a doubt feeling poorly. Pale comb/wattles (they're the same size as usual, just off-colored), extreme lethargy, ceasing egg production, and rather sunken eyes. Haven't had a chance to examine her poop for worms, either. Pretty sure it's not upper respiratory. Will post pics as soon as possible. Any idea what could be wrong with her based on the given information? I want to know if worming or even antibiotics are needed at this point.
Also, my Olive Egger, Elle McFeatherson, just died yesterday after similar mystery symptoms. Only difference was some feather loss, much more energy, and strange frizzled-looking plumage around her neck.
Thanks in advance,
~Alex
