My homemade incubator.

That is a good sign that maybe she is eating, her bill doesn't look bad now so she could be eating on her own. Mine didn't hatch with CB it started at about a week and progressively got worse. I'll have to update thread with a new photo. Curious about the missing eye, are the eyelids sealed shut?

When she was born she had 1 fully developed eye and one undeveloped. there was a really small eye...but instead of the roundess a normal eye has it was flat with no eyelids...well she didnt blink with that eye, ever. a few hours after she was born I checked n it and it looked as if the eye dried out. Now it just looks like she has skin over the eye-perhaps eyelids.

Do the feathers around it look sticky at all? Had a chick similar to what you described that had a sticky head after hatching washed it with warm water on Qtips the eye seemed to pop back out of its head after about ten minutes of washing and its fine now.

Okay so it appears the eye is still there...But it is not an entire eye its like it never fully developed. No clue if she can see out of it or not.

Here are pictures compared her good eye and her other eye.

Her good eyes. Nice and full, reactive.

Her other eye which I couldn't even see through all the Fluff until I used a warn paper towel over it. That is as wide as it gets, no change since hatch. But I assume she must be able to close her eyelid or it would have dried out by now?

So hard to tell what's going on with her eye, it definitely looks like there is an eye in the socket, I jumped on computer to enlarge photo still couldn't make out a line for eyelid. I did notice on previous photo that it looks like she has a patch of sticky on her back. I would try the Qtip cleaning just to rule out if it's stuck or not. If it's stuck it takes awhile to loosen it about 5-15 minutes. Such a cute little chick she's got a nice vaulted head too!
