I just don't see a single comb on this bird...and maybe it's my mind playing tricks on me cause your bird looks so much like Raven did way back then, but I think I see some slight muffs...and green legs. You know what that means. The dreaded "it's a mutt, it must be an easter egger" guess

and I still feel like the bird looks pretty girly

Well, I love this forum. I have a house chicken, also. Someone gave her to me when she was a week or two old and she has been in the house since then. She gets to go outside on nice days. I have her in the cage we put baby chicks in and she is not very big. I believe it could be because of the cage. She is very vocal. She is beginning to lay eggs. My mil told me she was a brown leggin when I first got her but I don't know. Here is a picture of her. Does anyone know what kind of chick she is?
