Lucky duckies! We have a pond about that size but not a good filtration system. I'm going to show your post to my husband to see if we can rig up something like that. Our little pump is constantly clogging up.

yes my hubby did put a lot of thought into it and said that as soon as he has the time. he will look up the sight he used for ideas on the filter system. so i can post it for you all.
I havent had to change the water yet and it has been in for 2 weeks. i do have to add fresh water every other day because of all the splashing. but, right now only 4 ducks are in it. when the babies get older and go in it.....well we might have issues
Happy to hear some of you were inspired or dw's mind changed. i really think the ponds will be beautiful once planted and finished.
I had my hubby read what you all said and he was shocked at all the nice things said and interest you had. It really made him feel good.

wow! that is wonderful! and your ducks are really cute. right now, i have a natural pond by my house that my ducks LOVE but we might end up moving and i'm glad that i have the option of building them a pond now. very very nice!
