My Hubby's New Endeavor

My husband started a new website. It's called Game Apparent and the aim is to share the love of video games and advice for parents of video gaming children. I don't know what to think. He's spending all this money and time on this company/site and I don't know what to think! It sounds like a good idea, but I don't know if anyone would use it, etc.

I could really use a wing to lean on now...

Anyone else been in the entrepreneur's spouse's shoes?

I dunno honestly. It is a blog basically. I'm not sure how funds will be generated...every time I ask about it, he can't even explain it.

As far as I know the only way you can make money on a blog is if people advertise on the site.

Well I can't talk from the entrepreneur's spouse's shoes but I'm sure DW could! Lord knows I have had my fill businesses, some good and some not so good. There is just something about feeling passionate about something and spending a lot of time working on it..... hmmmm, kind of like chickens!

I found his site and think it is really good. Great design, good flow and concepts, and good content. It looks to me like it is more of a hobby than a business at this point. However, you would be surprised at how much money a good site can make once it gets a good following. You have advertising, branded merchandise, he could eventually sell games, memberships, etc.
