My husband Steve....

So as anyone else ever came home to find their husband standing over a wire cage all proud of his self? I came home today several hours after Steve to find him standing over a wire cage with a Possum in it and Steve with a big smile on his face. He is planning on serving said Possum as dinner in 2 weeks from now. Anyone have a recipe for Possum? Anyone want to come for dinner in 2 weeks?

Yeah feed him/her plenty of veggies and clean water get it clean and bake that sucker with potatoes and carrots.

DH did that with a snapping turtle once. Ended up giving it to some weird friends of his.

We have a pond so we get a snapper or two coming to check it out every spring (too cold for turtles) but DH catches them and gives them to a friend whose wife cooks it up.

I've had turtle, but have no idea how to prepare it.

DH said he was served skunk stew at a truck stop in TN and said it was very good.

I've read that they're fed milk and vegetables for several weeks. Can't say I've ever considered eating one, and I spent some time rather hungry on the Army survival course.
