Welcome. I am so sorry. Did you get a necropsy for any of the hens?

No we didn't. It's taken this long to even find a farm vet. And honestly my husband didn't want to go to that expense (and at the time we didn't know that was a thing until lately).

We thought having chickens was just easy and you have them running around in your back yard and you feed them and keep them safe from predators (that's how it seemed to me with my neighbors but she didn't predator proof hers and lost her whole flock ). We had no idea what we were getting into. And my husband grew up in the country where your chickens just ran around.
