My Japanese Quail is broody!!!

I'm not very experianced with hatching... but i have gotten perfectly viable chicks up to 3/4 days After first hatching.
What is the humidity in your incubator?

So i opened the shell of the one with "the pip" and it doesn't smell but I think it's dead or under developed but I only opened the big end so maybe it can still hatch if it's alive

Pretty bad humidity right now but one is hatching fine so?

Humidity is pretty important so that the chick doesnt become "shrink wrapped"...
But hopefully the other one comes out ok...

Yeah well humidity went up a lot and the chicks hatching alright but she's got a blood vessel-y string and stuff coming out of her vent but tweeting happily so does she need the string stretched still?

Definitely keep them in a brooder.

Oh! So she is mothering it? Hmm. I don’t think she’ll accept the others. It’d probably be best for you to raise them in a brooder. She won’t be "sad" for very long.
