I believe Bleenie's coloring would be called Blue Barred. Out of the six I have 2 blue barred, 2 blue pied, 1 blue, 1 black (possibly black bibbed?). I really lucked out in the sex dept because I'm 99.9% sure I have 2 males and 4 females.

Bleenie was the most friendly of the bunch right from the get go. I got them when they were a week old, they had been living on a friend's pond with their scovie Mom and Dad, originally there were 10 ducklings but something ate 4 of them so the remaining six were offered to me. I kept them in the house with me for the first month and anytime I was near the brooder Bleenie would call out to me, jump right into my hand as soon as I walked up to the brooder...she's my spoiled brat LOL All of them will run to me, eat out of my hand, nibble on my fingers and even let me pet them...Cocoa is the only one that will spook a bit when I reach out to touch her.

Beautiful girl! Then again, all your ducks are purdy. Lucky you on having a lap duck. It seems no matter how much my babies are handled, only one of them really seems to ENJOY the handling.

And yes, good ratio! I think we got lucky too, as 3 of my 4 new Runner ducklings are making hen noises. I do hope the last one turns out a drake though, or I will be on the prowl for one! lol
