I ate my huge egg. It was an egg inside an egg. Both eggs had large single yolks. My husband ate 4 pullet eggs and the volume was the same as my large egg.

I just read through this. Wow. Those are all such huge eggs!!!! My barely started laying pullets are laying 30-40 oz eggs. They look tiny compared to a normal egg. I couldn’t imagine what they’d look like next to those bricks! Those poor hens... talk about ring of fire!

I think you meant 30-40 grams. If the eggs are 30-40 oz, they are huge eggs. The egg I got the other day was 182 grams which is just under 6½ ounces. Good luck and have fun...

Pft!!!! That’s what I meant. I’m not used to weighing in grams. We usually weigh all our meat in ounces. Thank you for the correction! I got one today that was 48 grams!
