I have a grown partridge rock. This one does not look like her, she seems much bigger and heavier.

Partridge Rocks are actually supposed to be huge and heavy.

She looks very much like my partridge rocks chicks, just darker in color. My kids were from mypetchicken.com though and my batch has horrible genetics (PRs are barred instead of penciled, columbian wyandottes are anything but, and both australorps have white wing feathers) so I'd say yours comes from better stock than mine.

That's the last time I place an order filled by Meyer hatchery... you've got a gorgeous girl there!

Partridge Rock, no way a barnie nor a buckeye.

Feather pattern is not lacing, especially the double lacing on a barnevelder.
Buckeyes are solid colored - like a heritage RIR or darker

It's a Partridge something, and the most likely candidate is Plymouth Rock.

Should be a nice girl for you!
