Ron, just Wow. I had no idea they were cranking out smoked meats that are not actually smoked, but just smoke flavored. That's doesn't sound good.

Actually, the liquid smoke they use is made from real smoke, liquified.

That's interesting! I like the smell of liquid smoke but learned the hard way...a little goes a long way.

They have been doing it for a long time. Some cooked hams are actually boiled and flavored--never smoked
