My leukemia's back.

Sex linked puppies...Now that is funny!
Keep dreaming! We need more laughter in the world.
Ok, Rachel and I have confessed to sneaking in extra chicks that our DH didn't figure out until later. Anyone else?

Last night I saw my sleeping Tolbunt Polish's face *in* the feed! Is that not just like your child falling asleep while eating or what?

LOL, you all need this as your own personal poster:

I'd stage an intervention but think your "sneak a chick" stories are too funny!

No sneaking new chicks in here...DH spends almost as much time watching the chickens as I do. He likes to tell me they are mine but I know he has a crush on the 13 girls we have.

Another time we brought home 4 chicks from the county fair. We put them in the aquarium again and put them in my daughter's room which is directly across from our room. The bet was on again that he wouldn't notice! . Mind you my hallway is only 4 feet wide. Our bedroom doors face each other and the bathroom is in that hall. So every time he went down the hall, there was a good chance of hearing or seeing them! It took him 3 weeks to notice!!! My daughter was even holding them a few times when he went into her tiny 10x12' room!

Needless to say we have teased him over the years about not paying attention to detail.
I have an observantly challenged husband too, but I have never thought to take advantage of it. It could be more fun this way.

I always wait until the broody is confirmed and the desired eggs have been sat on a few days before casually mentioning to honey " I think I've got a broody"

He and I have an agreement.....he doesn't count my chickens, I don't count his guns or ammo. Works well for us.

For anyone here who is a fan of Anne McCaffery's Pern works, I've been reading Moreta. Just finished and had myself a good bawl

. She was such an amazing writer. Now I've got to find something lighter for a while....
