Every time the truck comes to places, so people can donate blood. You have a pas and can donate every time. The do a small checkup and check the blood before the rest of the work.
Health is one of the most important things, I feal this way so mutch stronger after our son and the hole deal.

Good morning all, and @Blooie!!! How have you been???

Phil, get to the dr now! Bills,bills, bills. Whatever. I have health ins & because pay so much for it, I don't have money for the copayments. The bills are piled up, our credit is screwed. But they can't get blood from a turnip. Hubby has to go to dr at least once a month & I make sure we have the $45 for his copayment. Sometimes we don't have money for the meds, but we get what he needs. Worry about the bills later. Worry about living NOW!

@Outpost JWB - Tell your hubby it could be worse . . . .

I used to sing in my church choir. One night after choir practice, several of us were strolling from the choir room through the building, chatting about who knows what. I was several months pregnant at the time, definitely "showing." As we were walking through the back of the sanctuary, I suddenly felt the woman walking beside me bump into my shoulder, hard. I looked at her, and realized from the slack expression on her face that she wasn't conscious. Crashing into the back of the pew could have been nasty, so without hesitation I wrapped my arms around her as her knees buckled, and eased her down to the floor. It all happened so fast, the other women with us hardy knew what had happened. The moment she was prone, she began coming to, and within minutes was sitting up and insisted she was fine. We never knew just why she fainted, but I still remember her comment when we told her how she came to be on the floor, "oh, good one, Paige - fall on the pregnant lady."

Oh, Phil, I am sorry and I completely understand the concern over the lack of insurance, but please, please, please do not delay too much -

Oh, no, I am so sorry - of all the birds to be taken it just had to be that one, eh?  Your poor DH - I hate that he is taking it so to heart when it was something so beyond his control. 

I won't.... I feel a better at this moment I've really hit hard on the prednisone.
But I won't be doing much today except riding it out... If it flares back up i will be on my way to the hospital.

Phil....how do you not have insurance?!?

If the prednisone and nebs, whatever, don't work, get yourself in. A dead Phil won't help anyone, either. 

I only have the VA and the closest VA hospital is 90 miles away. I don't get it my wife can be seen anywhere.... I can't.

And thank you so much for the blood donations! You really don't know what it means until you've been there......

OGM, we're glad we moved but can't say we're settled yet, lol. We've been working crazy long hours all summer but come winter, things will be a lot slower. I'm closer to family now too, like you. Kind of nice!

Phil, Phil, Phil......what are we going to do with you? Or with your doctors? They need to have a plan in place to take care of you when you flare. Not like it's not going to happen, right?

Woke up this morning to a Chicken Break

. Apparently I didn't shut the coop door all the way and there were birds everywhere!

I just stood there sipping my Diet Coke and watching for a while. I love watching them.

but then, we've got to go to church, so the birds gotta get put up. Thankfully, they're easily tempted with food. I don't have to tell them it was bones from fried chicken, the bloody little cannibals.

If I caught colds more than every other year i probably would have found out more by now. But I still had regular insurance last cold I had.
A 60 MG burst of prednisone yesterday has me only dealing with the cold symptoms now..... Thank God.
At least I'm getting air in and out.

Blooie!!!!! So glad to see you poke your head in - sounds like things are a bit crazier than even your usual crazy life, hope it all settles out soon.......have been thinking of you and yours and wondering how things are going.

@donrae. Thanks for trying to give me a rooster.....but I'm good! Lol! So, my French blue copper Marans roo is definately gone. But I have 2 French black copper marans Roos and 2 cuckoo marans Roos, as well as 2 olive Egger Roos. Plus all the others. I'll be fine. I just wanted him for increased chances of blue copper marans chicks. Have a good night!

Had a couple rough patches with my breathing today this virus in my lungs is making my asthma go crazy. But I get up and go to the doctors in a couple hours it will probably give me a burst of Medrol. That should do it.
