Started working on my bedroom yesterday! For 5 years the master bath & bedroom has been a storage room. Everything was ripped out due to mold. Even (or should I say especially) the floors. All of the floor in my room was replaced, but parts of the floor in the bathroom are still not intact. Yesterday we made great strides and hope to have the bathroom up and working by this winter. 2 bathrooms?!?!?!?! That would be like a dream!

Mold is bad stuff.... I have a spare bedroom /spare storage room with similar issues.
One of my soon to do projects will be to rip out the old dry wall and replace with the same type I used in the bathroom.

I've got probably a dozen I'm going to take to the sale in a few weeks. Whoever doesn't sell will probably be pig food. We were joking about cattle being grain finished, well our pork may well be poultry finished.....might sound

but if I can turn a little mixed breed cockerel into bacon, I don't know of any better deal!


Roused the Locusts this am to go to the Y and work out. My weight is getting out of control, and Big Boy is exceeding his name---so it's dedicated low carb for us, and going to work out MWF before school. Uggg.

Low carb works great..... I need to do something to. But I haven't cuz i don't want the wife to diet too. As she finally gained weight back since she quit drinking. She was pretty sickly looking before cuz was too skinny.
Appointment went good..... I got a HEAVY Medrol pack.

Now I'm waiting for a chest Xray.....
They think I sound like crap.... I told them this is the best I've been in days.....

But I get what you're saying. It's hard to be the only one trying to make a change, no matter what it is. Thankfully Honey has been low carb for a long time--he's down 120lbs.

Good for the medrol---wonder if they'll see something and do an antibiotic also?

Boss never had the meeting with me yet. I'm sure the other one told him what I said. As if it can't get more drama filled, I came home today to a jury duty paper. Suppose to serve week of Oct 3. I text HR to see what I need to do. She told me I should write a letter and try to be excused because should the trial last over a month, I will be replaced. It is written in their policy this way. I am writing a letter explaining my situation and the fact that I am my family's only source of income. Maybe they will excuse me. I served once about 5 years ago.

Rachel, well, if you are blessed to have weight to lose?!? I am very blessed too! Been walking and doing at least one Zumba routine a day. I LOVE refit Zumba. One of my favorites is Good Morning (Mandisa). Google it sometime on YouTube. All the refit Zumba routines are good. A local church used to have free Zumba night. I was embarrassed at first (shy), but I got over it, toned up, learned how to dance & had fun. Then they dropped the program, :/.

Where do you live? This is the USA and you cannot be fired for Jury Duty as far as I know.

Does this company sell a nation wide product? If so let me know and I will make sure to never purchase their stuff.

Learn what you can there and find a more ethical company.

I'm still nursing my poor torn up Ducks the worst injured one is showing Improvement today the other seem like they will be fine. In case I forgot to mention on this thread my poor Ducks got locked up with my poor dogs last night and it the outcome wasn't great. My wife accidentally let them out and forgot the Ducks are out there too and they were out there for quite a while and out of it I ended up with four injured ducks and I'm mad as heck and my dogs. But like others have told me dogs will be dogs hopefully we all learned a lesson from it. I really feel bad for my ducks s I feel like I let him down. But I won't let it happen again.
