My leukemia's back.

Good morning everyone!

Rachel, how's your breathing today? Hope you hear about the house soon.

Good Morning @N F C - any big plans for your weekend?

Hey there OGM! Can't say there are any big plans. DH got the kitchen just about licked into shape so we finally have some storage space in there...I need to get busy unpacking the moving boxes that have been piled up since May. But funny how other stuff keeps getting in the way (stuff like chatting on BYC, crafts, movies, etc.).

What about you, are you pretty much settled in to your new place now? Maybe you already said and I've just forgotten but what about your animals...were you able to take them with you when you moved?

Husband was licking the kitchen ?

Breathing is about the same. Waiting for the nebulizer to come, we'll see how the new meds do.

Our agent said he's been talking to the listing agent and we should hear something back today. I'm just frustrated at the lack of communication. I expect a bit of back and forth, meet in the middle kind of thing. But how can we if they won't respond?

Anyway, gloomy day but not raining. Just in for lunch, then out to clean stalls.

Anyone with experience with the mobile Life Alert type devices? Mom fell while out on her walk yesterday. Didn't get injured, but it could have been a Bad Thing. She's asked me to look into one. All I'm familiar with is the in-house devices with a short range, she needs something for out and about. I'll do some research, just wondering if anyone had experience with a good company, etc.

My well is about 240' and gives 1.5G/min.  The irony of it is that when we dug the hole for the foundation, we found a spring under where the kitchen sits.  If we'd have been half as smart as we are now, I'd have put a casing down into that spring, and pumped it straight up into the kitchen.  How cool would that be????

Sounds like it would have been a better deal.... 240.....that's deep..... Like my shallow well that's for sure.

:fl hope the nebulizer works.... Can't believe you don't already have one.

I had a nebulizer last year, but turned it back in.

when they did my full on in-the-box pulmonary function test, they do a pre and post albuterol. The nebulized albuterol made zero difference in my breathing. It's just not that kind of airway disease, i guess. Between that, and the company I was renting it from me calling me all the time about stoopid stuff, I sent it back with good riddance.

But, he's wanting to nebulize the steroid component, I think it's like Pulmicort? Not sure exactly what he Rx'd. He thinks it may get better effect on just the lungs, vs having me increase the oral prednisone that acts on the whole system.

Sounds like a good plan. I was on Pulmicort for a while. Good stuff.
