My leukemia's back.

I'm coming to you all with an other prayer request.  My brother has been receiving treatment for colon cancer.  Last spring and summer, he had chemo.  Followed by an ileostomy.  He came very close to dying, but has made somewhat of a recovery.  He's been in and out of the hospital since then, most recently has been in for 11 days due to a "blockage".  He's very weak.  I ask you to hold him and his wife up in prayer, as well as my 90 y.o. Dad and my step mom who are in Florida as well, but not able to get to the hospital b/c of the heavy traffic and their advanced age.  My brother made a profession of faith years ago, but has felt very little need to associate with the body, or grow his faith.  Please pray that he will be comforted, and seek God at this time.
you got it LG....

Ok. No biopsy done today. Could have been at 4 without the good drugs, or at 8am tomorrow with the drugs. No brainer to me! They talked with the pathologist and he said he will push it through so we get results tomorrow afternoon.
Talked with the PA I saw before and she did say it's relapse. Platelets continue to drop, and like 50percent are abnormal. She said they'll have to decide on a course of treatment but I may be looking at another induction chemo stay, which is over a month. Not sure how that's gonna work but we do what we gotta do, right?

Good news....my repeat echo was better. Instead of 35-40%, today it was 46-50%. So that's a good thing. Tonight I've been conversing in full sentences, off the O2.

We're trying to work out how our life is going to go. We will be liquidating the chickens and maybe selling some of the other animals. Lots of things to be thinking about.

I'm gonna be in the hospital over Easter. That's one holiday I think I've always been home for.

Okay, Rachel, prayers doubled this morning.

What Blooie said. Heavenly Father, we lift Rachel up to you today, and pray that you will perform a miracle of healing for our dear Sister. Please strengthen her body and help her to fight off this evil that has invaded her. Keep her safe in your arms, give her Your peace that passes all understanding. Give the doctors wisdom. Give all of her care givers compassion, and expedite their actions so they can meet all of her needs right now. Be with her family also, and give them comfort and peace. In the precious name of Jesus, we all pray. And, all of God's people said Amen.
