My leukemia's back.

Yes! That is how we do it. I think you may have had one called Jane Cowl.

It is an easy grower and roots well.

What a beautiful color! I'm a sucker for shades of orange.

My trademark is a pair of blaze orange Crocs. The joke at the hospital was it's hard to tell patients apart when we're walking in the halls. We're all bald, with a mask, it can be hard to tell who is who. But my orange Crocs always let folks know it was me!

I have vivid yellow rubber garden clogs. I look like a giant duck.

You need to get a rub on temporary tattoo for your head.
something the complete opposite of your personality.
Shake things up a bit.

Good morning Rachel, hope you had a good evening and an even better today!

@Blooie , hope your DH made it home safely yesterday. With several family members in WY, I'm familiar with the road & winds you mention.

@3goodeggs , that was a beautiful hibiscus you shared.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Good morning Rachel and Team! Ken made it home safely, thanks, but he said that trip had a pucker factor of 8. He was due home about 5 - didn't make it until 7:30. Sadly fire season has begun here with the winds. He said there was a lot of smoke up there, and around Dayton it looks like they have a fire going pretty strong. Lots of fire trucks staged. Here around Cowley I think someone said there were 9 fire calls yesterday, which kept our all-volunteer fired department pretty busy. I love this area, but I have yet to figure out why folks don't check the weather and wind advisories before they burn off fields or ditches.

Have a super smooth day, Rachel!!

Boy, feeling better and having nothing to do is a dangerous combo for me! If my poor honey knew all the plans I'm hatching, he'd confiscate my tablet and keep me off the internet. I know most of what I'm researching won't happen, but if even a small part does we're going to be building pens for a while. Thinking of meat birds and building a plucker...we have an old washing machine earmarked for that, just need to get it done. My oldest son is taking metal shop and doing well, I'm thinking of having him build me a nice portable stand with some killing cones. Don't even get me started on the thoughts about meat rabbits!!!

Mom and I went out looking for a dog park yesterday but couldn't find it, maybe we'll try again today. I asked Big Boy to post some pics of home for me, he literally posted pics of the inside of the house.....not quite what I was looking for? Asked him for more animal and plant pics, I want to see my animals and flowers.. we'll see what I get lol.

Blooie, glad your husband got home safely. Remember the big fire that burned so much of Yellowstone several years back? We visited the park about 8 years after that fire and it was heartsickening to see how much damage had been done and how small the new little trees were compared to the way it used to be...it takes so long for a forest to regrow.

I wanted to let you know our hummers are back! They showed up a few days ago and it's been so much fun sitting on the porch watching them. Glad to see them come back!

Good morning, Rachel and Team! It's a gorgeous morning here in northern Wyoming. Sun is glinting off the snowcaps on the mountains and the winds are calm for a change, unlike last night when they literally shook the house a few times. But they are supposed to pick up again later today - we are expecting winds of 25-35 mph with gusts as high as 45- 50 in some places where the mountains funnel them down. Ken is across the mountains in Sheridan and will be driving home later this afternoon, so if you could spare a prayer for a safe trip I'd be grateful. Winds up there are always far stronger, and that highway is so steep and curvy in some places. Thanks!

Rachel, your picture for today is of a this little character who spent a good 5 minutes trying to get some goodies out of an artificial flower! It's not the best photo technique-wise, but it's one that always makes me smile! Prayers for you, that you continue to do well, those pesky liver numbers stabilize, and you continue to make steady progress!

I once had a hummer buzzing my ear!

Meat rabbits are a very good source of meat for someone looking for a raise-it-yourself source of meat. Not hard to butcher, don't take up a lot of space, doesn't involve incubators or brooders......
They don't crow, either!

Rachel, I'm so glad that you're doing better. Just a matter of time before you're home and putting all those plans into action.
