Barred Rocks are one of my favorites. I currently have EE, BR, and Cuckoo marans that all look alike and try to confuse me

Outpost, all you need to do now is add some Dominiques to the flock to really get them all mixed up, lol.

JWB, I have barred Hollands, cuckoo Marans, black barred EE....have actually been out of mature barred Rock ladies since last fall. Honey just shakes his head when I can tell the different breeds apart

I love the barred patterns. So easy on the eye. And with the right Roo match, I get plenty of black sex links. I have a whole flock of BSL now, and they lay the most beautiful green eggs.

Well, Jenny just left with the girls for haircuts. I did Kendra's hair in braids today. Nice, tight ones. While her hair was wet. Maybe the salon lady will have so much trouble getting them out and combed loose she'll give up.
