My leukemia's back.

Gorgeous morning here...chilly though. I had to thaw the hose this morning to fill the duck pools up.
Got to get some chores done before I can sit down and watch my race today....hope all are healthy are happy this morning.

I am trying so hard not to call my son and asking if he is staying warm.
This is a kid who would not wear long sleeved shirts. OR a jacket because he did not want to carry one around later in the day.
I mailed him warm clothes because he did not pack any... then I realized it was because he did not have any

So he just skyped in the middle of this post to tell me it was snowing.
he is outside laughing and showing it falling from the sky. it is a new experience.
he was in a short sleeved shirt.

Oh well, his friend is from Alaska, so she will make sure he and his room mates gets warm clothes.

It was a bit nippy here this morning too, but no frozen hoses or frost yet. I just spent the last half hour updating and editing the article I wrote about letting kids with disabilities enjoy chickens and that was nothing short of a pure joy to do! Soon it will be too cold for Kendra to go out by the chickens so I'm thrilled that I got these photos of her out there when I did!

After living near a college town for many years and having a son go to grad school in Michigan, I've come to conclusion that college kids think shorts and parkas are enough for the winter (boots optional).

It sounds like he is having a blast Eggsy!

I need to go back and re-read your article Blooie (I totally enjoyed it when you first put it out). I'm so glad you shared those pictures of Kendra's big day with the chickens and thanks for entering one in the Family & Fowl photo contest!
