My leukemia's back.

Well I'm not bringing anything made with ground beef! I was over optimistic today and didn't even tackle the chicken, although we'll probably have some for dinner. 20lbs of ground beef kicked my butt for sure. But chili and Fritos made a fine lunch, let me tell you

.

I took my resume in and had an interview with the Home Health agency today. Big scary step, going back into the world. But I think it's time. I've enjoyed being home, but the income is needed and I need more structure to my days. I'd say I need to feel more productive, but did I mention 20 lbs of ground beef

? I didn't even get muffins made.......but I did hide the chocolate chips better.

And each and every one of you would be most welcome anytime...free holidays for all of you!

We should all have a get together here and celebrate life, our love for each other and thank the Lord for answering prayers....

My family are here on Rachel's thread in her fight for victory over the dreadful disease that she has now overcome...and to Little Lake Phil for his wonderful words of wisdom in giving such encouragement to Rachel... he knows better than any of us the enduring road back to great health....now that is a great reason to have a huge party!

Look forward to seeing you ALL here!!!!

Oh Suzie...love ya hun...get well...one week till fresh Alice pictures...;)....
Phil.

Rachel, a big old frozen broccoli bag will hide a lot of chocolate chips! It's amazing the goodies you can disguise as something healthy in your kitchen. It will actually keep the food from being accosted longer than it's shelf life if it should accidentally get forgotten. Soup kettle is also a nice place to hide chocolate chips, donuts and the like.

It's funny---years ago I used to put things I wanted to hide up in high places. Now, they're all taller than me, so I hide things down low

. they don't like to bend over! The veggie crisper is a great place, and you're right, the seldom used pots and pans work well too. Maybe I'll save the bag from some frozen spinach next time I make lasagna and use it as a decoy, that's a great idea! I've also found I can stash a carton of Ben and Jerry's in a crevice in the chest freezer if I put a big ol frozen turkey on top of it.

Sheesh, those boys better never come on here and read this, I'm giving all my secrets away!
