Back at ya. 31.3 this morning, and temp continuing to drop. I have lots of outdoor stuff left to do, but not brave enough to face that. Wood fire feels too nice.

You're colder than me this morning LG...we're at 39* but it should warm up to mid-60's. Your wood fire sounds cozy.

I think the rain is keeping us from getting too cold yet. Talk about a mixed blessing......

I get to go get another of my "baby shots" today......yippee. It really hasn't been too bad, I've not had much of a reaction even to the tetanus. Need to get all The Locusts down for our flu shots also, they're my "herd" so they all get the needle lol....they love that, but I made apple crisp last night so today they'll pretty much do any thing for me!

I had to laugh this morning when watching the local weather forecast -- the 10 day forecast had nine different ways of saying "rain".

BRRRR! Nothing better than a wood fire on a cold day, though.

I could, but I'm not sure it would be worth fielding the calls, etc. I took over a dozen really pretty 4-6 month old cockerels to my sale last month and had zero interest.

Totally understand it not being worth the hassle.

Beautiful morning here -- strange, yellow object in the sky, not sure what that is, lol.....seems we are going to get a "sunbreak" before the next 9 days of rain sets in. Just said goodbye to my mom, she came up yesterday and spent the night -- SOOOO awesome that we can do that now, and definitely makes this whole move worth it. Off to yet another job interview this morning, really trying not to get discouraged. On the upside, I had an interview at the same place day before yesterday (different department) so I'm less nervous about this one since I at least have a feel for how they do their interviews.
