My leukemia's back.

Well, nothing will pop you right out of bed like waking up at 6am and remembering you had the water running in the main livestock trough and forgot to turn it off......yesterday afternoon

Luckily my water softener starts clanking when I do that. Far too frequently I might add.

LOL - at my sister's place there is one faucet that makes a HORRIBLE racket while in use (has been checked out and deemed okay, just one of those things) -- they purposefully use that one for the hoses that run to the various troughs, etc go avoid this issue.
Or opening the washer to toss a load in and finding the load you washed two days ago still in there. <sigh> It happened, and Diane covered it, 2016. (and many times prior!)

ICK! BTDT, but less so now as I've become obsessive about keeping on top of things now that I have one of those frontload washers that are prone to serious mildew/smell issues, I've not once forgotten a load in that one because I am so worried about "ruining" it that as soon as it's done running the wash is in the dryer and door propped firmly open.

Oh, no, yeah - that'll get you up and moving lickety split!

I'm an official Oregonian! Went to the DMV this morning, parking lot was empty and I panicked for a minute thinking they were closed due to election day (this state has no ID requirement for voting, that's a rant for another day, in IN we *had* to be open the entire time polls were open to issue ID/DL) but turns out they just weren't busy, AT ALL -- I was the only one there, in and out in like 20 minutes and that includes taking the written test

Congratulations OGM! How's your picture?

I'm still trying to get my WY license. Trying to round up all the documentation they want has been grueling. I'll get it yet though!

Well, welcome to Oregon! Glad you got in and out easily. Now you're all legal and stuff

Went to the lung Dr today. Breathing feels worse to me, but according to the test I'm basically holding steady. He's going to switch up my inhaled steroids a bit, put me on a nebulizer for a month and see if that helps.

Doing a trial to see which bedding we like in the stalls, shavings vs straw. I'm off to clean and see which one is easiest--woo hoo!

If I did any such thing, our well would be dry. I can't even water my garden properly due to well issues.

We have a front load, and it does have issues. And I'm so scatterbrained that I often have to wash a load twice b/c I forget it.

Yeah, I left a sleeping bag in our front loader for....not sure....maybe 3 days? Not a pleasant smell. I added vinegar and ran it through again, came out much better.

Still no response from the sellers on the house. Poor Honey's at the end of his ripe tonight. What is up with folks taking so long? Do you want to sell the place or not?

Grr.

Well, I put out D-con last night. Pretty sure it was a rat that took one of my bantams. Moved them to a ore secure coop and left the box of bait instead. They ate or stole the entire box of pellets! So, generous soul that I am, I left them another one today....we'll see how much is left tomorrow. Buggers, anyway, eating my little chicken. Pullet, too, of course. They couldn't have eaten a cockerel, oh no!

I guess I'm glad that i don't have well issues..... We have surrounded my so many lakes that our water level is only a few feet down.... Maybe 10 feet.

My well is about 240' and gives 1.5G/min. The irony of it is that when we dug the hole for the foundation, we found a spring under where the kitchen sits. If we'd have been half as smart as we are now, I'd have put a casing down into that spring, and pumped it straight up into the kitchen. How cool would that be????
