My leukemia's back.

I like to cook.... Unfortunately not for just myself though.... Ice fishing has been okay ... Lot of small ones but that just means next year should be better.

Sorry I've not been on lately.... Lot of stuff going on. Dealing with my wife's health..... Then her good friend died Saturday from the same thing my wife is dealing with..... That's two of her best friends in less than a year.
...... :/

Phil you and your family will be in my prayers. May Gods will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Hugs and prayers, Phil!

At least things are happening, that's a good thing. Waiting stinks.

Got the Corolla towed to a shop today. They've got it on the schedule for Monday, will try to get to it sooner.

I've got labs and the septic tank inspector coming out to the new place tomorrow morning. I'm driving our Buick that probably needs new tires, an alignment, something. It's like riding a drunk horse when you're below 30mph. I'll try to get it into Schwabs on Friday, see what needs to be done.

Between all our vehicle problems, last night I was saying I'm going to saddle Daffy up and start riding her again. I can just see trying to hitch her at the grocery store

. It's been so long, if I climbed up on her back she's probably just stare at me "What on earth do you think you're doing? Get OFF me!". Wench.

Now to try to find a friendly person with a truck to get that huge ol tote of chicken feed to my house

Out at the new place with the septic inspector today. It needs a complete new system. The old tank is cast iron, tiny and not draining like it's supposed to. Ballpark off the top of his head.....15K.

We'll see what the inspector and contractor say next week. I'm thinking the seller is going to have to adjust the price down a bit so we can get financing. But, we'll keep plugging along and see what happens.....

Yikes! I know that was one thing we were anticipating having to do in our old place within the next couple of years (should have been done years ago, but we kept nursing it along because of the price tag attached to doing it). In our case it should have NEVER passed the inspection, but it did, which still burns my biscuits because we'd have rethought the whole deal had we known what we were really getting. I hope the seller is willing to work with you.
