My leukemia's back.

@donrae, I'm a brand new member and your post caught my eye. I don't know where you are in your treatment but as a fellow CML survivor/warrior/fighter/whatever, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Please, anyone who is interested, check out "Be The Match" at https://bethematch.org/ You never know whose life you can save by donating marrow or cord blood. There is never enough to meet the need!
Thanks.....

It's " Cow Appreciation Day," at Chick fil a. Wear one or more cow-ish item and get one entree' free today (7-11-17) from regular opening hours to closing. I plan for this during the year - I find it much less strenuous than Bingo.

You can get by with a white visor (from Jo-Ann's or etc.) and put black tape to make spots, or marker and there you go. Easy peasy. Even more fun if friends join you.
Some locations hand out paper cow masks - so don't let lack of creativity stop you. :celebrate

Have to share this..saw it again, I love this.

We do go through a lot, all of us, at one time or another. Some of course, are much harder than we could ever imagine ourselves going through, but, my guess is, that these folks are the ones that have moments .. and take them, to reflect on all of the good that has happened in their lives. Their is always something to be thankful for. We are so blessed .. so many times, in ours lives.

You have a little long haired Dachshund. We have a short hair, and Brody has a different coloring. Piebald it's called. Not sure I shared, as my memory isn't as good as it used to be..I need to be feelin that 40ish age at 70 that Diva has goin on! :D

Good morning! Hope this finds your hearts light and joyful!

Had a fabulous day yesterday....dh, ds and I drove down to my sister/ mom's place and spent the day. Took the day off work to do it because my other sister, whom I only just really reconnected with last year after over 20 years of estrangement, has come to visit. She and my aunt are there for a few days, but all I could swing was the day..... so we squeezed a whole lot of family time in. She had never met dh or ds, so that was special all on its own. Plus dh, ds and I were able to get some things done, fixed and taken care of around the place. Always come away from days spent with the family feeling recharged.
Will be going back down Saturday to spend the day and leave ds there for a full week so he can tackle some of the stuff we didn't get to and have some time with them.
