Hi everyone, been out of town but am (slowly) catching up.

@Blooie as always, you put it so well what Rachel meant (and still means) to all of us.

@donrae how wonderful to get an update on everyone! Congratulations to you and your new lady. How quickly it seems that the boys are growing, guess that's kids for you.

@getaclue so sorry about the news. You know we're all here for you and in lots of thoughts and prayers.

Oncologist called today. She's ordering new scans on everything. We suspect the breast cancer is active in my bones now, and my red blood cells have enlarged as a result. Not good news at all.

No. Just no. Where is that magic pill they've been working on for years now?? You know you are in my prayers. Keep us updated.

Update on hubby. First meds didn't work out at all! Stopped them pretty quick. Weren't going to try another, but doc says, let's try old school. I'm pretty excited with this med that has been around for awhile. It seems that it's helping him to stay the same. Better than him gettng worse every few weeks. He has finally accepted it better, even makes jokes about it at times. Still frustrates him when an easy word just won't come to him. . Or, when he needs help spelling a simple word. He asked me how to spell.. they.. the other day. I find words on paper where is is trying out the spelling to see which looks right. For example, . . said. . saed.. I have been going over bills with him so I know what's up. Plus, got a will, trust, and power of attorney done. Our son has moved down here now. Not with us, but is very close! Me...I just had 2 places on my nose frozen. One place bigger, and that I've been worried about for a while. I now have 2 very ugly sores on my nose! Well, doc says, I don't want to see you back, unless it comes back. Ugly nose, ugly . Oh well, better than having to cut out cancer. He said it was pre cancer.

Cynthia, I'm glad you are taking the time to take care of yourself, instead of letting your health issues slide. I keep you and your hubby in my prayers.

Hi Cynthia, thanks for the update! Glad to hear the 'old school' med is working out better for him. Don't worry about your nose, it will be fine and it's good to have it taken care of. Glad to hear your son is now closer.

Maybe you mean @Cynthia12 DD? I'm ok but Cynthia had a couple of places on her nose that were pre-cancerous.

Applying sunblock is a good reminder to all of us though!

Man, the Prayer Warriors march ever onward!!! Cynthia, you are one of the strongest ladies I know....you and Richard have sincerely been a beacon of hope when I work with Kendra. I, too, am so glad you are taking care of yourself even with all you have on your plate.

All of you who are having to walk on a gravel road instead of a smooth path, continue to keep us updated as you can. We all care!
