Please understand that I've never done cookie cutter type cookies before. I've never made my own flow icing before, either. I got the outline icing just fine, but had to thin the flow icing, then re-bag it. When I took the class, I was told she never uses smaller than a #3 tip, but next time, I'll use smaller tips for the detail work. I'll do it all over again in a couple days. I will learn this, and learn it well. Someone told me to use food color markers to put the lines on the cookies, so they're straight, then put the icing over the marker line.
