My leukemia's back.

Please understand that I've never done cookie cutter type cookies before. I've never made my own flow icing before, either. I got the outline icing just fine, but had to thin the flow icing, then re-bag it. When I took the class, I was told she never uses smaller than a #3 tip, but next time, I'll use smaller tips for the detail work. I'll do it all over again in a couple days. I will learn this, and learn it well. Someone told me to use food color markers to put the lines on the cookies, so they're straight, then put the icing over the marker line. Same thing with a good circle.View attachment 1704516

I have several more to do, but I'm tired, so I put it all away, and will finish up tomorrow.

WOW! Hey, @N F C - is there an Easter Baked Goods contest again this year, because we found us a ringer!!!

GAC, your cookies look wonderful...good job!

I see where Ron already gave a link to the contest...DO enter, they would be perfect for that contest (and I'm sure others would like to see them)!

I went to a few stores today and was surprised by the big displays of St.Pat's Day offerings. It didn't look like people had bought any. Maybe it's like after Xmas - they wait for the clearance prices and then stock up for next year.:idunno

Hope we aren't running out of Irish folks, the former neighborhood had several families. They were the nicest people on the block. Used to baby sit for the Duffy family. I lived only about 3-4 houses down the block but, Mr.Duffy always walked me home.
