My leukemia's back.

What a mess! Sorry about her animals, that's so sad.
She was devastated, and to get that news as she was in the advocate’s office digesting the words “malignant” and “cancer” and “biopsy” was a punch in the gut. Piper got her through every hard time she’s ever had in her adult life. When she owned the shop, Piper went to work with her every day and politely greeted every customer before going back to her mat behind the counter. She went everywhere with Little Diane. She asked me, “Gramma, how am I going to go through this without Piper?” I had no answer.
I understand the character thing..

But wow...what heartache and stress on top of the cancer news.

:hit
She’s made of pretty tough stuff. She got through her mother abandoning her here and all of the subsequent court hearings, being a runaway for over a month, her and Dustin’s divorce, a serious motorcycle accident, her kidnapping and brutal assault…..I just want to be with her and hold her right now, but there’s nothing I can do to help her through this crisis. <sigh>

Diane and Piper, on the road to somewhere….

Prayers and best wishes for Little Diane. Cancer is a scary beast and I am praying for her.

I was lucky that the technician who read my mammogram noticed a small cluster of calcium spots and they caught my cancer at stage 1. My mammograms look like a starry night and the cancer looked like a small milky way cluster. Surgery to remove the area of concern (actually 2) and 6 months of radiation. Been cancer free for almost 4 years.

Thanks, Team Rachel.…..she’s feeling pretty good this morning. Sore, and she says she has a headache but doesn’t know if it’s from the anesthesia or stress or a combination. Now we wait. No better place to wait than in Rachel’s Waiting Room with all of you. :love

How long until the results will be ready? That waiting would be nerve-wracking!

Okay, here’s the news. It ain’t good. The lump under her arm is benign. But the other two biopsies came back as cancer. They are setting up her surgical consult and assigning her an oncologist. That’s all we know at the moment. I wish I could cuss on here….I have a backlog of bad words that are dying to burst out!

No cancer in lymph nodes?
