I'm on day 3 of Verzinio. According to the info, I should begin getting severe diarrhea on day 6 - 8, which will continue for a month to 6 weeks. Oh joy.

I left the paper for me to get my disabled parking permit renewed, with the oncologist's office. I should have filled it all out, except the medical part. New nurse put it as temporary for 5 months. I printed off a new one, filled out the pertinent parts, and will have the Dr. sign it when I go in on the 14th. Sheesh!

My mom and aunt were both given the same cancer drugs. (Don't remember the name). My mom had zero side effects. My aunt said she had all of them!

You just never know!


I pray you get none, or at least very mild!

I don't think it's going to take 6 days for it to start. BTW, the starter kit includes a month of anti-diarrhea medication, along with the Verzinio. It's pretty much guaranteed that for at least a month, one will suffer that particular side effect.

Thanks for the prayers, and hoping it doesn't get too bad. I too hope it doesn't get too bad, and tapers off when my system gets used to it.

Every time you sit on that toilet picture every cancerous cell flushing out of you. I’m not kidding about this. Positive imagery is no joke.

That would be HIGHLY uncomfortable for a couple for days let alone a month or more. And keep you housebound. I, too, hope you don't have it bad.

room, good suggestion. It's said the power of life, and death is in the tongue. I think I'll speak the cancer cells dyeing, and leaving.
