my little chicken Warts

my 8 week old chick named Warts has tons of growths on the bottom of one foot and they seem to be painful... she holds her foot off the ground some of the time and also seems to favour that foot... what is it and how do i cure it? she is in a large stable-turned-coop and has access to a big grassy run with a little duck pond... she is in with 30 other chickens around her age and a young goose...

i find that there is no swelling anywhere on her foot... its just rugged looking and black on the very bottom... no reddness or anything... it doesnt at all resemble the traditional photos of a swollen bumblefoot

So are you saying that is just dirt and not scabs?
