Krazyquilts
Songster
Thanks largely to all the wise advice and information gleaned from BYC, I am now the proud mama of six little female ducklings! They arrived just this morning from Meyer Hatchery - two each of Welsh Harlequins, Cayugas, and Buffs.
After everybody was placed in their new brooder and had a drink and some food and a bit of a swim-splash (I read that newly arrived ducklings who have access to water they can swim in wont have problems with pasty butt) and then another drink and more swim-splashing, and then more swim-splashing, I gently toweled them off (and gave them their first solo photo shoots) and put in them in their shipping box which will be their "bedroom."
Splashing is hard work!
