My little punk rocker Polish

I hope s/he's going ok. It's so tough nursing them and worrying you'll lose them. With the sinus stuff. I made up very warm salty water, and soaked a paper towel in it to create a warm compress to soothe the sinuses. Sometimes this also heaped drain the gunk from the nostrils.

S/he's doing fine, it seems. Only sounds a little rattly at night. During the day s/he's clear, sneezing greatly diminished as is the scratching at the face. Eating really well. I'm keeping the shower enclosure about 90 degrees and turn off the light mid-day and give him/her the whole bathroom to play.
My 5 girls out in the coop finish up their 2 weeks of duramycin today and are all fine-no symptoms at all. I would love to put PomPom back out there with them this weekend but he gets meds 2X a day and I'm afraid if I put him out there I won't be able to catch him/her to medicate! Fast little thing and doesn't love being handled. I'm thinking about puting a temp enclosure inside the shed (I only use half of it for the birds) and integrate him/her back in slowly. He's the smallest of the bunch.

This certainly has been a learning experience. I have a houseful of senior dogs (I run a dog rescue) who require lots of attention and was hoping the chickens would be a diversion from that...but alas, it's not to be. I hope this will be the END of our problems despite what some have mentioned here and elsewhere.
Thanks for asking :)

PomPom is a happy, healthy hen! No problems at all. she's the funny one, runs for treats and sits on my lap.
My girls have just started laying...it's so much fun.
Thanks for asking :)

So sorry for what you went through, but glad that PomPoms better!

what a lovely ending. I had to read along (didn't cheat racing to read the end) you are a great chicken nurse and Pom Pom is a lucky little chicken.
