Just curious: How is a "commercial" White Rock different from any other White Rock?

It might just be when they are bred, or hatched. I'm not for sure.

I read "commercial" to mean the same as hatchery quality. Just my interpertation.

My hatchery Rhode Island White looks just like this also. The heritage RIW are supposed to have a different comb but mine has the single. This is why i call mine commercial or hatchery RIW.. A different person on here has used the same hatchery and they still make golden sex links so the genes are right for a RIW. But ya i think it could be either WPR or a RIW, I've also heard that with these white ones hatchery's can pull a fast one on you and it may even be a mix of any of the major white birds. White leghorn, White Plymouth Rock, Rhode, Island White. These other posters are probably right about the Plymouth Rock though. The only reason i say all this is because my commercial RIW looks the exact same

Is she short and small? I have one that looks just like her. We call her Little Mama cause she is short and looks small and fluffy.
