My loudest rooster!

So my rooster name Brownie. He is a Rhode Island Red, he keep crowing, even at night! So i was wondering why he crowing?

The simple answer would be - because he is a rooster. They crow to 'mark' their territory, to impress their hens, to show their strength and virility. Night crowing is generally caused by a disturbance of some sort. Flashing car lights, loud sounds, predators around the coop. Many roosters as they mature tend to crow less.
